- Should I get a health check on a car I have just bought?
- It is a good idea. Even with a fresh MOT, a used car can be due brakes, tyres or fluids. A health check gives you a starting point so you know what to budget for.
- Is a health check the same as an MOT?
- No. An MOT is the legal roadworthiness test. A health check is an informal look over the car for your own peace of mind, and it can pick up wear items the MOT does not cover.
- Will you fix things during the check?
- Not without asking. We finish the check, talk you through what we found and quote for any work. Small jobs can often be done the same day if you want them.
